From Farm to Cup – The Journey of Vietnamese Coffee

Every cup of great coffee begins with a remarkable journey. At RUBICA, we carefully manage every step of the supply chain—from sourcing premium coffee beans to delivering finished products that meet international quality standards.

1. Coffee Cultivation

Our coffee is carefully sourced from Vietnam’s renowned Central Highlands, where fertile volcanic basalt soil, tropical climate, and ideal growing conditions produce beans with exceptional flavor and quality.

Local farmers apply years of experience and sustainable farming practices to cultivate healthy coffee trees and produce cherries with excellent ripeness and consistency.

2. Harvesting

Coffee cherries are harvested during the peak season when they reach optimal maturity. Careful harvesting helps ensure better flavor development and higher bean quality.

Only carefully selected cherries continue to the next stage of processing.

3. Processing

Depending on customer requirements and the desired flavor profile, coffee beans may undergo different processing methods, including:

  • Natural Process

  • Washed Process

  • Honey Process

Each processing method creates unique flavor characteristics while preserving the natural quality of the coffee.

4. Drying & Cleaning

After processing, the beans are carefully dried to achieve the ideal moisture level for storage and export.

The coffee is then cleaned to remove impurities, ensuring food safety and product consistency.

5. Grading & Sorting

The green coffee beans are graded according to size, density, and quality standards. Defective beans and foreign materials are removed to ensure only high-quality beans are selected for roasting or export.

This stage is essential for delivering consistent quality in every shipment.

6. Roasting

For roasted coffee products, the beans are roasted using carefully controlled roasting profiles developed to meet different customer preferences.

Whether Light, Medium, Medium-Dark, or Dark Roast, every batch is monitored to achieve the desired aroma, body, sweetness, and flavor balance.

7. Grinding

Roasted coffee can be ground according to specific brewing methods, including espresso, drip coffee, pour-over, French press, moka pot, filter coffee, and other customized grind sizes requested by customers.

Precision grinding ensures optimal extraction and a consistent coffee experience.

8. Packaging

Freshness is preserved through high-quality packaging solutions designed for both retail and wholesale markets.

RUBICA offers flexible packaging options, including customized bag sizes, private label (OEM) production, and packaging designs tailored to each customer’s branding requirements.

9. Quality Control

Quality is monitored throughout every stage of production—from green bean selection and processing to roasting, grinding, packaging, and final inspection.

Each shipment is carefully checked to ensure it meets customer specifications and international quality expectations.

10. Worldwide Export

After passing final quality inspection, our coffee is prepared for international shipment under globally recognized shipping terms.
